Good design usually leads to good research |
Cresswell's book highlights the importance of design in the conduct of good and effective research. If care is taken in the design phase then the research project has a good chance of being successful in achieving its objectives. As Cresswell indicates the purpose or objective of the research needs to be clarified before design and this task itself can be difficult if it's not dealt with carefully.

Every Which Way: Really Mixed |
I thoroughly enjoyed this book by John Creswell. I found his method of organization very helpful and I would recommend this book for any researcher considering long term research initiatives. The writing is clear with lots of examples and annotated bibliography at the end of each chapter. John explains concepts so that the reader understands easily the need for mixed method approaches and how they are different. |
